Hello All- First off I have to give a huge thanks to all the existing members who have made this site an absolutely priceless tool as I have shopped for my Jag over this past year. After coming close a couple times my search is about to conclude having committed to a 2001 Sapphire XKR convertible with 26k on it. Thru the unlimited amount of information I have been able to hold out and weed thru cars that although beautiful just wouldn't be a good fit for me. I ended up going with the car that I felt was in the best condition and looked past it being the first color choice. Baring anything unexpected with a mechanic appointment I'll be adding this beautiful car to my garage.

So again thank you to everyone.

You've already found the XK8/R section - just note the first few threads with the how to's, downloads, etc.

check out the Northeast US regional section for local events/news

Welcome to the forum CMJ LGG,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums and to hear the information available has helped with your choice of XKR.

That almost certainly means you already know your way direct to the tech section but if not, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks Fulton. It has been a long tough winter. Certainly has me anxious to be able to enjoy the Jag that much more. The car is located off a camp road and if it wasn't for teh conditions I'd have it at the garage today so I could get things wrapped up. I think living in the climate that we do makes having one of these cars even more special.

Thanks Jim. I'll be glad once I'm able to take delivery of the Jag. I'm looking forward to being an active participant in the forum. So far it's been very one sided with all the great information I was able to collect while pursuing the right car.
