New member seeking knowledge
I'm at that time in my life of fulfilling dreams and passions. 1st it was ocean front property, check out casaflamboyan.com. Then it was a cruising sailboat. I found and rehabbed a 1996 Gemini Catamaran, sailing her for many years sharing with friends around Isla Mujeres, MX selling her in 2016. Now I on to another long time dream of a Jaguar XK, as I am moving to a house with an extra garage for her.
SO THE QUANDARY OF WHAT TO BUY? I know I want burgundy with a tan interior and top. What year and how much to invest? I like the clean lines of the older models and maybe the simplicity, but want reliability. Should I go for the XKR?
Help me find my car to love and cherish.

The Jaguar steel bodied XK8 was manufactured from 1996 to 2006 and the aluminium bodied XK was manufactured 2006-2014. Both models also had supercharged XKR versions. With any used Jaguar, a comprehensive history and careful pre-purchse inspection is essential.
