Hello everyone,
I'm your latest member and plan to be here routinely. Just picked up a 1985 XJ6 Series 3 - Sage Green with 178,000 KM's. Seems very sound and will attach a pic soon.

Everything seems to work (except the speedometer/cruise control and trip computer) but I have a new speedometer transducer to hopefully fix that. I need to ask about lumpy idling! Seems level when cold (on fast idle) but lumpy when hot. Any pointers?

Welcome to the forum iramphal,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hi and welcome from a fellow Canadian and Ontario resident. Lincoln is not far from Niagara on the Lake if I remember.
