Hi folks!

Just wanted to say hi, joined the forum a little while ago, had to sneak around for some research. I've been longing for a Jaguar XK-series a long time now, and finally I bought one!

It was beautiful, stood in the sun, shining. I heard it calling, i had to take it home. Deep blueish, Ivory leather, born 2003 but she has been babied all her life. Looks good, sounds good.. it's a dream to ride, been out all day and I just want to go again, again..

All is good, but there's one think I can't figure out. I thought all Jaguar XKRs had memory seats? There's no buttons around the handles, as mentioned in the owners manual... ? Oh well, its no big thing, since no one else will ever ride this baby but me..

Thanks for a great forum, looking forward getting to know you all!

Welcome to the forum,

Good to have you with us.
That sounds like an excellent colour combo!

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum,

Your XKR looks to be Sapphire Blue (or possibly Antigua Blue) with Ivory just like my last 2001 so I have to agree it's an excellent combination!

Memory seats was an option and many European models weren't fitted with it. Same goes for powerfold mirrors.

Look forward to hearing more from you in XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section.

Sure looks like Sapphire Blue. OK, i took for granted that memory seats would be standard.

Thanks for the input!

Check the PAINT code on the label next to the LH door lock striker. It will be a three letter code. For example JHM = Pacific Blue

If it's a different code, post a reply with the code.
