Hi

I have recently joined the forum, but have been a Jag (& Bentley) owner for 27 years. At one stage I had a 1950 Mk5 (I restored it - well as a labourer to an expert), 1964 Mk II (basket case), 1980 SIII XJ6, 1983 SIII XJ6 (still own, but it's in long term storage in Wollongong with the head in the boot). And I had a 1956 S1 Bentley. To afford them all we ran a wedding car company. Then I shut that down in 2004 and bought a Transport Company - bad decision. To keep it (the business) running almost all the cars went except for my baby 83 XJ6 (I'm it's 2nd owner, and the first was one of Australia's top 200 Millionaires). I sold the business early last year to go into battle against Cancer, which is a battle I won, but at huge physical cost (Ive lost 32 kgs since the op).

This year, now that I'm on the way to being better, ithe aim is to get a V8 XJR - expected to happen before the end of this month, and to get the 83 back on the road.

I'm open to NSW get-togethers if they are arranged, as I have heaps more time on my hands now.

Regards

Lyndon

Hello, Lyndon,
I'm Very glad you have won your battle with cancer! You are Very fortunate!
Your list of past Jaguars is impressive. Some of them I only know from my Jaguar club members and their restoration projects. it's too bad you had go liquidate.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Nice little fleet you had, and still sort of had.

The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
