Post New Member from Texas

Hello I am a new member from Texas driving a 1997 Xj6L with approximately 170,000 miles. I found this forum through a Google search. After reading some of the responses, I am excited about joining the group and hopefully getting good tips to maintaining my car as long as possible without going overboard.

My purpose for joining is because I a having a problem with my car randomly stalling when taking off from a stopped position after driving for 5 - 10 minutes. I have replaced the fuel filter and the fuel pump. The problem seemingly stopped, but randomly began occurring again. I am able to immediately start the car back up, rev the engine, and get going again. Sometime, the RPM just drops to zero when taking off causing a delayed take off. Otherwise, the car is smooth and silent in idle and runs great. Any solutions to this problem is welcome.
