Hi I've just joined the forum. I live in the West Midlands in the Centre of England, UK. I bought my X Type in June and am loving it so far. It has done 79500 miles and I've had it serviced at a local independent Jag specialist. I have fitted a diesel tuning unit to improve economy and performance. I have just now finished fitting an iSimple Tranzit IS77 so that I can listen to my iPod through the factory fitted radio. I will post more as time goes on.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type tech section so no need for a link from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi and welcome Zach, you're the member nearest to me (that I've spotted) and was wondering what Jaguar specialist you used?
Not that there's anything (other than the bloody airbag light) wrong with mine!!

 

I used a company called J.A.G in Bilston. They were recommended by a friend of a friend. Seemed ok

Today I have replaced the two front tyres. I used tyre-shopper.co.uk to order and pay for the tyres and arranged to have them fitted at my local agent - National Tyres. The service was fast and efficient!
