Default new member XJ sport 3.2 (1995)

Hello everybody,

My name is Panagiotis Lykos and i live/work in Buldaria.

I'm responsible for the mechanical maintenance of a hollow glass production plant.

7 months ago i bought a XJ sport 3.2, year 1995. (#745813) manual transmition.
The car had 134000Km that time and now is driven daily by my wife ~50Km and by me at the weekends ~150Km, only country side roads.
The car is in very good condition with minor problems, most of them solved by just reading this forum !
Really unbelievable..!!!

It's a great pleasure to drive such a car and be a member of such a forum.

Thank you all,
Panagiotis

Welcome to the forum panagiotis,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums and to hear you have already been finding useful information to help with your XJ Sport 3.2. I had the same model a few years ago and it was very reliable.

I know you have already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Europe Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/
to find other members in continental Europe.

Enjoy the forums.

Thank you Graham,

Please inform me if something else is needed, or still not fulfilled.

Panagiotis,

Be aware the XJ Sport 3.2 was only marketed in Europe so members in other parts of the World may not be familiar with this engine size. Regardless of having a 3.2 or 4.0 litre engine, they are still all X300's.

Welcome.

We got the MIGHTY 3.2 also, and mine has done 210K kms, and flawless.

I reckon it is a much "sweeter" engine than the big brother.

Hello Grant Francis,

What do you mean by "mighty" ? (English is my third language, sorry..)
I've followed your instructions for some issues, 100% successfully, Thanks a LOT.
Trying to pick up a detailed procedure for clutch replacement, anything in mind?
