Hi all, after spending 5 years building what I thought would be the ideal all round car (Classic Mini with a 1.8 Type R VTEC conversion) I've realised that it is everything but an all rounder. Don't get me wrong, it's great for track days, but as for taking it to Le Mans in June?? It really would not be a comfortable trip.

I've loved the look of the XK since it was released, I never thought I'd ever own one. Loving the XKR now I have it. I can even get my Kite Buggy in the boot. I think I may have a small issue, as I thought 3,000 a year would be plenty. I'm really not sure now....



So to Le mans in June, I'll now be going down in what really is the best all rounder I've ever driven, 800 mile round trip, bring it on, cant wait....

It's a great drive down the N138 into Le Mans - enjoy the trip.

To make sure the XKR is ready for it, follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
