Default New from NYC

Hey guys, I am very happy to be a part of this forum. I am from nyc. I just purchased a 2004 jaguar x type 3.0 from copart for cheap. little did I know it had a blown head gasket issue. The thing is the car is too clean and in great of condition to give up so I decided that I am going to spend the money and put a new engine in it. It has 62,000 miles on it and the interior looks like it has never been touched. I really like the car. I love to work on cars. I have a ford truck which I always work on and try to help people out on the ford trucks forum as much as i can and i am hoping to do the same here. I look forward to see what happens with my x type and posting when i have any issues or to show off what i did to it on a particular day. Thanks.

Congratulations on your 'new' Jaguar, even it it does have a problem.
I hope you get that head gasket sorted out soon so you can take your cat out to see just what it can do.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum guru123,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
