Default New owner needs help, please!

Hi, I have just recently became a member & an owner for the first time. I am totally in love with it but I found out it does not have any Bluetooth connection. I have a 2006 X type SE 2litre dci, it has the touch screen with CD player. I recently discovered that there is a Bluetooth unit, which seems to be plenty of them, that you can buy. Not knowing a great deal about cars I’m not sure if these can be added or how to add them for that matter. Can any members out there help me at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Welcome to the Forums.

Lots of Info in the X Type Section, or, the Audio Section, a bit further down the home page.

Good luck.

Welcome to the forums G Winters,

Good to have you with us.

Few Jaguars of this era were factory fitted with Jaguar Bluetooth as it was a very expensive option. Several members have fitted aftermarket Bluetooth kits and you wil find relevant threads in the X-Type forum. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
