Just bought a 2004 X type 3.0. This forum helped me know what to look for and to be comfortable with my purchase. I'm a Ford guy. Mostly Mustangs. Daily drivers to drag cars. I'm 59 and was ready for something different, unique, still sporty. Landed on Jags. The X Type is perfect. After driving my 93, 5.0 convertible, it's so nice to accelerate in the wet and be able to move forward instead of sideways.

Should be a fun ride.
