New owner of Type-X 3.0
Hello all. I just purchased a 2002X TYPE 3.0 LOADED last night. It has 94,000 Miles and has a 100,000 mile warranty. It is blue exterior with a cream interior. Very nice vehicle. I am a little worried, I KNOW NOTHING about Jags. I hope I did not get into a car that is going to cost me as much as a car payment monthly to keep it running. I just want a good dependable vehicle. Someone tell me I made the right choice, PLEASE!!!!

Hi Tsquare... welcome to the group: ) congrats on your Jaguar purchase! I wish I could tell you that you will never have a problem with it but every car is different.... It depends on how it was maintained. I'm on my 2nd S-Type (both were bought used) and to date I have not had any major issues with either of them. As far as knowledge of Jags..... don't feel bad! The only thing I knew when I bought mine was that IWANTED IT!!! LOL

Thanks. It appears teh people we purchased it from will become friends also. We all got along well and are in the same age group. I am looking forward to sitting down and reading the manual so I can figure out how to work the thing. I need to know if I need to have the warranty switched into my name, or if it just stays with the car no matter what. I also need to find out what I need to get a 2008 dvd for the nav system.

We all are that have a NAV system, looking for an up dated map CD..let us know if you find a copy..

Some of us (including me) refuse to pay $200.00 for an updated CD..just don't seem that important.
