Default New Owner of an X-Type

Hello all!
I just acquired a 2004 X-Type 2.5 5-Speed with 82 KMi within the last month, black/black.
My first task is to get a second key cut. I have a new remote with a blank keyblade, and was fortunate enough to be pointed to a local shop that can cut the blade. Programming the remote should, hopefully, present little challenge from what I've already seen on the forum.
Hopefully my posts with any serious Jaguar issues will be few.
Happy Motoring!

Default Thanks!

I was not expecting an upgrade so quickly. I appreciate it, and will keep on-topic as best I am able.

SelousX, welcome to the forums. I think you will like it here. I'm sure you will be hearing from me a lot as I do a lot with the X-TYpes. SO, sit back, grab a cup of Joe and enjoy. Also, take the Kitty out for a long ride and I am sure you will find that you will enjoy those rides a lot more.

Welcome to the forum!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.
