Question New Owner of XJ6 94 with questions.

I just bought my first car and am totally excited that it is a Jaguar 94 XJ6! The car is in great condition. I was lucky enough to have bought it from someone who was restoring the vehicle with OEM parts. I do have an issue, however, because the radio is one of the only things I've realized so far that is not stock. Although I wish I owned the stock radio, knowing that it costs quite a bit to find one, I do not have too much of an issue using an aftermarket. The only problem I have is that my CD Changer in the trunk does not connect to the Kenwood stereo I have.

Does anyone know of a aftermarket radio that supports the 8 Pin control for the CD Changer?

Thank you!

Have you tried contacting Kenwood? They might have what you need to complete the hookup to their system.

I have not contacted Kenwood yet, but I will definitely do that! I have however viewed the stereo from the back. The only connections it has are two RCA for left and right plug ins and the power.
Thank you for your reply, Gatekeeper.

I still would contact them. There maybe an adapter wire you are missing that branches off from the main wiring radio harness and includes something to connect your changer. Let us know how you make out, Good luck.
