Hi There, my first post..
Just recently purchased a early 1998 XK8 convertible.
Bit of a doer-up but will get there. Live in Norfolk UK.
Now I have already replaced the timing chains and tensioners with new, all the old tensioners were broken or cracked. Thanks to ebay videos, undoing the crankshaft bolt wasn't too bad.
Now have the drivers seat apart to replace the seat leather and repaired a few welds in the seat that had broken. Found out why the heated seat didnt work.. there isn't a heater element in either the squab or the backrest!
This site and forums already been a goldmine, would like to thank all who run and contribute.
regards
Steve

Hello, Steve,
Congratulations on your new XK8 convertible!
One might expect a little fixing upping on a 22 year old car, but you've come to the right place to learn how to do it. And, there's Nothing like a video to show you how to do stuff, unless it's being there in person.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
