Hi,

I bought today XJ6 4.0S. It has been registered 9/95 but MY is 94, colour is Kingfisher Blue and inside light brown (beige) leather. It has been bought new from Saudi Arabia and 2nd owner is 80 years old gentleman here in Finland who has owned it last 10 years. He has driven only 2000km/year at summer time. Now this car has been driven only 58000km and condition is almost like new one (of course there is some marks because of car is 16 years old). So I am 3rd owner for this beaty. My all condition weather car is MB SLK and this new beauty will be driven only in summer time when the sun is shining. My earlier hobby car was Porsche 928S4 MY 92 but I noticed afted two years ownership that is is not car that I want to own so I had to find new one and this 'cat' was my choice after months of searching here in Finland and Germany/Sweden. Actually I was searching XJS but when I noticed this XJ6 (driven kilometers and condition) selection was almost done. Especially interior is totally diifferent if I compare it to my SLK or earlier 928.

 

Have a 96, best car I have ever owned and I have owned dozens

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on an excellent taste in cars! The '94 MY is was the last year of the "XJ40", which is what I also have. It is an excellent car and yours clearly has a lot of mileage left in her!

Welcome to the forum, Ilepena! My first Jag was a 1993 XJ6 VDP in Kingfisher Blue with the Dayton wire wheels. What a beautiful car. In my opinion, Kingfisher Blue is the most beautiful of all the Jaguar colors.



It sounds like you have a great car, and I know you will enjoy it.
