Just thought I'd say hello and share a some of photos of my new (and first!) Jaguar!
I've owned a few V8's before (Range Rover LSE, B7 RS4, C5 RS6, E90 M3, CLS55, ML63) and I'm enjoying the great value for money with this STR. 400bhp for under £8k with todays prices is amazing value for money if you ask me!
I've owned this for around 6 months now. Mileage a little high (140k) but has full service history and a ridiculous history file of receipts. Since buying the car I've had some bodywork done, lowered the car on H&R springs, polished the headlights, tinted the windows, deep cleaned the interior and a few other little jobs.
Next on the list is an exhaust system or maybe just exhaust tips (if anyone has any suggestions). It's currently had the cats removed and sounds quite nice but not too loud which is good.
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Hello,
Congratulations on your First Jaguar! (And ya got a BLACK one! My Favorite!)
the fact it's high mileage only means it was a dependable car and that it's previous owner loved it enough to Drive it and not keep it in the garage all its life. The folder of repair receipts means he loved it enough to take good care of it. Both of these are Very good signs that it will serve you just as well as it did that person.
