New Used Jag owner intro
Hello JaguarForums Members!
I bought a used 97 VDP in February, and enjoyed the luxury for 13 days until remedial action was required.
I am past that (Wheel hub failure and bearing shredding, which I will post in another thread for informational purposes when I have some extra time!) Hopefully SOON!
I follow the rules in the world and will do so here as well.
I work on electronics, toys, computers, networks and other things to bring temporary happiness to other humans!
I will post a few photos of my jag and try to make sure i follow all the rules to help keep this forum clean and well oiled.
I want to add that I found this forum by way of JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource and If you are still here Gus, please accept my "Thank you" for maintaining your site for all of us Jag owners worldwide.
Looking forward to sharing my experiences of repairs so far as well as gaining more knowledge and understanding of my fantastic, mysterious automobile.
P.S. Maybe i rushed myself, but did not locate the signature entry form/field, s o i will add what my signature will say when located:
1997 Jaguar XJ Vandan Plas 192xxx miles (Current Daily Driver)
1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport (Once Daily Driver now Current Project)

1997 was a model changeover year. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xj-xj6-xjr6-x300-26/ to the X300 forum for help, advice and information if you have the earlier six cylinder model or this one XJ XJ8 / XJR ( X308 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum if you have the V8. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top of each is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! At least the heater blows here im nice and cozy already!
