New to the world of Jaguar!
Just thought I'd go introduce myself here since Ill probably be posting often!
Just got a 2010 Ultimate Black XF-R on Black interior. Its got 44k miles on it and I couldnt pass up on the price it was selling for!
Bit of a background:
I have been an almost exclusively BMW guy for about 5 years now. Have a heavily modified 330i I use for the track and traded in a 335i coupe that was modded as well! A lot of the work I have done on the car was through DIY's and it really helped me learn a lot about my car and others! I also look forward to modding my XF-R as well!
I have been a long time poster in the BMW forums so its nice that Jaguar has one as well! Although there is not nearly as much traffic on this site as the other BMW forums im more aquatinted to, it looks like everyone here is very friendly and willing to help!
I do have one question: How many Xf-Rs were there made in 2010? One of the reasons I got the XF-R was the rarity of it. Between this and the m5 I was also interested in, I felt the XF-R was a better blend of luxury and performance and I love the fact that its more rare! But I have always wondered how many are there out there? I know BMW posts statistics on how many cars sold, but I have not been able to find that from Jaguar. I remember reading somewhere on the forum about 800-900 XFR's were imported in 2010 but I am not sure how accurate that is! Can anyone shed more light on the accuracy of this number?

Welcome to the forum thecurryman,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
I can see you have already found your way to the X250 tech section so there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
Published sales figures are aggregated by model and not spec so I can only give you the XF/XFR total:

(click on the image to enlarge it)
Jaguar North America will have the breakdown on these numbers by spec.
Enjoy the forums.
