New XJ owner member intro
I'm rice0120, age 53 male living in Ohio.
I purchased a heavily used 2013 XJL Portfolio V8 last week. i'm in process of replacing all season tires, replacing brakes, adding key remote, ordering all weather floormats, fixing center console (won't latch and sliding cup holder cover broken), crankcase seeping, and I'm looking for used snow tire/wheel combination that will fit the lug pattern and offset.
The car is Sapphire Blue with Ivory interior. It has an aftermarket built in dash radar detector that is wired to the front and real of the car. I'm not sure how it works, but it was installed expertly.
I previously owned a 2004 XJR Black/Black. I asked a few tech questions on the forum last week and appreciate the feedback.
So far, I'm impressed with most aspects of the car (like my old XJR, the car is fast, handles superbly, is very comfortable, but is having difficulty in the snow/ice).
I will send a few photos when I get the vehicle road ready and cleaned up. thanks all. -rice0120
