I have been around Jaguars for many years now but my 85 Sovereign and 77XJ12L are currently waiting patiently for repairs / mild restoration. Three weeks ago I was in San Francisco and got a ride in a 2004 XJ8. Three weeks later after daily research I landed a mint 2004 XJR here in Austin, Texas. Having had quite a bit of experience working on my older jags I am hoping that this will not be as painful in terms of maintenance and repairs. Only time will tell. The ride, however, on this beautiful classic makes all worth it at the end.
