new xjr owner
Hi. I have been running around in my daily drive a 1955 Rover P4 for the past seven years. Recently being 50 years old or so I thought she was getting a bit long in the tooth lol. I was about to look for something a little more modern from the late 60's perhaps but as I was looking I found a very sexy looking 1998 xjr sport in black.
Never considered owning a jag before but when I saw this car I was taken by her straight away. I have to say she does looks stunning with black leather interior and black paintwork that appears to have been looked after. I looked for rust but so far haven't found any. didn't look underside as yet thou!
I will over time get to know the xjr's weak and strong points as I did with my old P4. I hear some engines suffer from weak timing chain guides and have niskal linings and also fuel pumps that can be noisy. As is the case with my pump which will have to fix soon before it gives up the ghost.
Would like to meet other xjr owners to get some tips and also to hear there own opinion on my xjr.

These sexy cars do put the "come hither" on us! Once that happens, there's no use resisting. You're doomed! LOL
