New XK Lover
Hello from the High Sierra of California,
After gazing wantingly at my friends 07 silver xk convertible this past year, I pulled the trigger and got my own!
I've never had a second car as a "play thing", however I think "I done good" with this one.
I've owned 3, 3 series, 2 Audis, 4 Explorers, 1 Lexus, 1 Range Rover, and a handful of pickup trucks........ But this car.... This car .......is Gorgeous!
It's a 07, convertible, silver exterior, ivory interior, 38,000 miles, 19 inch wheels, and cost less than 27,000 USD!
Where I live, the car will have to stay in the garage 6 months of the year, but it will RUN the other 6 months. (Lake Tahoe)
Planning a trip to Las Vegas in June. Nine hours of wide open desert highways!
Thanks to jag forum members for their help with:
1. Lack of aux input. I've got a fm transmitter on order
2. The confidence to change my own oil. Service is 1.5 hours away and I fortunately have a lift.
3. Heads up on the leaky condenser "duck valve" .
4. And most importantly, the confidence to buy a beautiful used Jag!
