Picked up a 05 STR 79,000. Really happy with the car but will be more happy when I get the misfire fix I think is a bad cat on bank 2 and only misfire on WOT at about 85mph not that I need to drive at that speed but checking out the potential. Great forum for info!!

Changed all the plugs nkg gap .040, moved the coils to the next bank, and checked for oil...none found

If I understand what you've done in switching coil positions, the misfire code moved between cylinders #4 and #6 suggesting a faulty coil pack before a bad cat.

Follow Steve's link to the S-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
