Hi, Just joined looking forward to some chat and gaining valuable knowledge I dont currently have a Jag, but I'm on the lookout for one.
I have a love all of ALL cars, and anything car related, with a particular penchant for classics, so, I'm looking for an S2 or S3 XJ6 (preferably the Daimler version) or a 4.0 XJ40, I just missed out on the very lovely XJR40 that was on "The Market" very recently, I was bidding furiously at the end, but it went beyond my max budget
I'm not new to Jag ownership, I had a gorgeous XJS 4.0 Celebration for 4 years (sold it about 4 yrs ago) I also had a 3.0 S-Type as my daily for a while.

Welcome to the forums forbsie,

You should have held on the the XJS 4.0 Celebration. Values are only just starting to rise. Shame to have missed the XJR40.

Enjoy the forums and the search for your next Jaguar.

Graham

Hello, Forbsie,
I wish you success in your search for the Perfect Series 2 Jaguar! Which in my opinion, and I freely admit my bias, is the Most Beautiful car ever to roll off the Jaguar assembly line.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
