Newbie
Hi every I'm new to the jaguar forum I'm from Naperville Illinois I'm 19 and I have two jaguars I've always wanted one but man are they expensive anyway I have a 1986 jaguar xj6 vanden plas with a newer British racing green paint job the outside is amazing no rust from California !!! But sadly the inside needs some work starting to get overwhelming to be honest I also have a 1978 series two xj6L it was my uncles but he gave to me as a project but he can't find the title now :/ so I'm hoping some of the people here would be interested in some parts ill sell cheap and fast let me know what you need need it out in three weeks otherwise I'm sadly going to junk it. Also will sell my vanden plas jaguar things are getting tough with bills car runs and drives just stutters cause needs new maf I think or o2 sensor. Does the maf or o2 sensor from my series 2 fit my series 3 vanden plas? Thanks everyone in advance.

Welcome to the forum Ii220,
Used Jaguars are cheap for two reasons - they have a reputation for being troublesome and running costs are high. The poor reputation is often the result of inadequate maintenance but the high running costs is very true and unavoidable.
Follow Norri's link the the XJ6 Series II section for help, advice and information.
If you want to part out the vehicles, put an ad in PRIVATE For Sale / Trade Classifieds - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum section. Be sure to accurately describe the models.
Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to this friendly Forum.
Good advice from Norri + Graham.
You'll need to clock up ten posts before posting in the 'For Sale' section - it's simply Forum etiquette to stop people joining just to sell, which isn't your case I know.
Enjoy your membership here.
