Hi from Wisconsin
Just bought my first X Type from Bhenry. 215000 miles car is in great shape but needs the rear control arms and at least the front catalytic converter.
Plan on trying the citric acid dip on the converter. Hope to get it out tonight.
Does anyone have a how to? I have been working on cars for 30 years, mostly body work. Have reconstructed many salvaged vehicles.
Hope I can figure out this Cat. lol

Welcome to this friendly Forum. That's a healthy mileage but you're obviously used to getting your hands dirty and you'll get lots of advice from the X-type guys.
Can't help with the citric acid trick, sorry.
