hi all

just got myself a x-type 2008 2.0D SE and loving all the extras, just swapped from a 2000 Merc C class c320.

Just read all of the things you didnt know your xtype could do, very useful

got a few things to do on the car to get it back to good state, partly as it's got 130K on it, list so far is
re-spray front bumper
rear arb links
front pads
and figure out how to attack the zillion stone chips and scuffs it came with !

Will post anything I find that think might be helpful

Ian

Welcome to the forum Ian.

Is Mack's Army store still on Tib street? (the mountain jacket I bought 35 years ago has finally worn out)

Our Detailing section might be able to help you with your paint problems, but chips tend not to buff out. If you are attacking the bumper, why not think about the front 1/3?

Good to have to with us.
