hi guys just a quick hello from me, my dad recently bought an X type 2003 2.0TD, and after a drive i fancy one my self so on the look out for a reasonbly priced X TYPE no greens or reds, but prefer a dark colour

Assuming you're somewhat younger, you might like to go for the Sport in 2.2D variant, with 153bhp, quick yet economical and the Sport has bigger alloys, de chromed and also probably the piano black dash....
