I just picked up my 2006 XKR convertible 2 days ago with 39k for $26000. This car is awesome. Im still trying to determing if this body XKR is better than the new body XKR. I feel like I driving an Aston Martin or something. Everywhere I stopped people just admire the XKR it gets alot of attention. Im excited this the best car I ever owned. I like the blue gauges at night it gives the car a more futuristic look. Dont let me talk about acceleration I like that supercharger kicking in.

It sounds like you got a fantastic deal--about $10K less than I have seen these advertised for. Was this a private party or dealer? Isn't it staggering to think that you ended up with a super high-end luxury grand touring machine for less than a new Honda Accord?

I both my car from Private Seller in Ohio. Everywhere I drive the XKR people just stare I guess they think Im a rich man or something. This car is gorgeous. I love driving with the top down. This will not be my last one I cant wait til the 2010's depreciate to under 30K thats my next ride.

 

Welcome to the family!! I get the same reaction from people when I'm in the city. You don't see that many XK8s or XKRs on the road so people tend to do a double take.

Keep it waxed and clean and you'll turn heads no matter where you go, even at British car shows/gatherings.
