Hello, new to the group and hope to acquire a XK8 (Pre-2003) for a week-end car. Would prefer a Coupe, but probably have to go with a Convt. Condition of Engine & Tranny are not a concern since the car could be fitted with a alternate drive train:-). I am not a Purist and would would be the owner; which would allow me to make any modifications I chose to perform. There is much to be learned from your postings and I have just begun. These XK8 are beautiful cars. Again, thanks for the wealth of info.

 

Yes indeed, if you own the car you can do whatever you want to do with it!
