Default Newby from Scotland

Hi I've recently retired, been a driving instructor jammed in various fiestas for 30 years lol.
I bought my 2001 x type 2.5l awd currently 84000miles (genuine) four years ago with a view to that being my car after finishing work.
After lots of work including total replacement sills and just about anything that could break has broken its a magnificent car to drive and still looks beautiful.

Hello, Andy,
Jags Are magnificent cars, especially older ones, after you pour loads of work into them, fixing all the stuff the Other Guys let go. Most of us here know whereof you speak and have personally felt your pain!

Congratulations on all your successful repairs.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Andy,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link UK & Eire - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
