Hey guys, I just picked up a 2004 Jaguar XJR. Absolutely love the car so far. Bought it from a small luxury car dealership that was on consignment in California, and had it shipped the 1200 miles to Nebraska. The car was actually owned by the Hollywood actor Rutger Hauer... kind of a cool fact to tell people.

Only thing I see I may have to do in the future is the air shocks. When the car arrived on the transport truck, all corners of the car were dropped all the way down. Never had any lights come on the dash, and all was well until about a week later when temps hit about 1* F. The front end was down to the fenders by the time I went to lunch. Never had any lights come on then, and the car raised immediately. I've researched the heck out of the air springs, and haven't come to a conclusion yet. Now that the temps are at least in the 50's, I haven't experienced any dropping. I'll just have to keep an eye on it I guess, and save up some extra cash for repairs as needed.

I work as a CNC programmer and supervise a team of 3 other CNC machinists at a distributor of racecar and street rod parts here in Lincoln, Ne. I have quite a passion for building hot rods and fun cars.

I have been keeping an eye out for an XJR for a couple years, and finally decided to pull the trigger. Couldn't be happier.

Thanks guys. Although I'm a new member, I have to say, this site is much more professional and helpful than the LS1 boards I used to visit.

I joined this site not to long ago myself. I have learned so much here just reading. I dont post much because most everything I have run into has already been figured out and discussed on the board. But this site has saved me allot of money and allot of time.

Thanks everyone.
