Default Not an owner,............Yet !

Hello People.
Greetings from Nottinghamshire.
I have just stumbled across this forum and thought I would jump in, I have been doing a lot of reading up on the type of car I want and this looks like a good place to be.
I have wanted a Jag for some time but never been in a position to seriously have one, it seems the time to get one is very much closer. I am looking for an X300 preferably the 4.0 version, still not sure as to the Sovereign or Sport.
Looking forward to making full use of this forum.
Cheers
Richard

Welcome to the forum Richard,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I had a 1996 X300 XJ Sport. It's only the trim that's different - no additional performance mods.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X300 tech forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Well, after very nearly 5 years of ownership the tin worm has taken it's toll. I don't have the time right now to start with the welder so it is being laid off for a while until I can have the time. In all that time I have done a fair bit of work to it and enjoyed the results immensely, it's a much better car than I first got and I will sort it out to drive again however in the mean time I needed a runabout so I now also have a 3.0 V6 SE XJ6 so lets see how this one does !!!

The tin worm took its toll on my X300 many years ago so you haven't done too badly!
