obligatory newby post - '03 S-Type
Hey, kids. New to forum but original owner of 2003 S-Type. Loved it since day 1 (so glad I didn't buy the MB!). Very few issues or questions up until now, so spent last 8 years on other forums or out riding/driving in TRW.
My S-Type is the sport equipped V6 with a 5-speed manual, in platinum with black interior and grey stained maple. Added mesh grill, a spoiler and ceramic brake pads (calipers painted red). Drive it fairly often, but only 35K miles to date - still virtually pristine inside and out.
In southern CA; must admit to being a bike guy before a car guy, however....

Hi and thanks for the welcome. Yeah, only ever wondered about tire and brake choices, etc, in the past so hadn't done too much searching.
I was aware that I had a fairly rare package - cool. And since Jags in general are not too common on the road also contributes to my enjoyment of the marque and this car. I'd wanted a Jaguar since I first saw an E-Type.
I have always owned vehicles with manual transmissions, but wasn't planning to find/buy a manual S-Type. The owner of the dealership ordered it up for a showpiece, then nobody wanted the transmission when it came time to sell so I lucked out with the timing. And the sport features look and perform great.
So, Jim, a bump to full access...??
