Default Our mid-life crisis XK8 convertible
Hi everyone. Well, we needed a second vehicle so why not a fun car? We now have a empty nest so did not need but enough room for our little yorkie to go cruisin with us. We bought a 97' XK8 convertible just on it's looks. Never even drove it,but loved the way it looked...classy! We are in our fifties so if we don't do this now, when would we? We love it! Looking forward to talking with other ownersand their adventures. Signing off as "Classy Lady & Country Bumpkin".

HI Kathy,

I totally understand your buy for the classiness alone. That was part of my rationale for buying a 97 XK8 convertible. Nothing looks quite like one!

Not checking the car out before hand...tsk tsk. Knowing that it's an XK though, makes it OK. Welome and hope that you enjoy the car fully and ride with the top down as often as possible.

Why do you need a crisis for an XK8 Conv?
Enjoy the ride. I knowwe do.

Although.... I got mine a couple of months ago and I just turned 40. Hmmmm.
