Thanks very much for the warm welcome. I've got a sec now for a bit of an introduction.

I am a master techncian at a local Audi centre, been there since 2006. From 1998 to 2006 I worked as a technician at a Jaguar Dealer. Its nice to be able to finally own one of the cars that I used to work on.

The forum has prooved really helpful in jogging the old memory, its been a long time. Just managed to get my old JTIS 21 disc working, on an old XP PC, its funny how much easier it is to use than the system I have with Audi at work.

Taking the box out to fit new clutch this weekend, wish me luck.

Consider luck wished and fingers crossed.
A post with pics in the S-Type section of the clutch change would help many less experienced members.

Welcome to the forum... Nice manual trans S type... Hardly any of those here in the States.

Oh, and I like your old Cadillac Catera...

Yup, the Omega was sold in the US as the Catera (for those over hear that didn't know that)..
