Default passenger seat trouble

Hello,

This has been a great tool for me, I just purchased a 2001 xkr convert. w/ 23000 miles. The car is in great condition and the previous owner has serviced it faithfully ie. roof hoses, tranny service, brakes and tires. etc.
the one question I have involves the passenger seat. does it go up/down?
the switch feels to only work for the recline nothing happens when you try to
lift up/down, no movement in switch, ie [detent] feeling.

Thank you John47

Welcome to the forum John47,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums. You may not have seat trouble - the Raise/Lower function depends on spec (see the line arrowed in red):

Default more noise

Does anyone know about replacement tailpipes w/ tips? I remember seeing a video involving rear muffler removal after axle and they replaced it with a bolt on aftermarket formed stainless pipes w/ welded tips. May have been magnaflow or flowmaster product. I can't find it again and its driving me nuts.
This would be such an easy and sweet option. Hope someone knows

Hi John,

There have been a lot of posts in the XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum usually people go with Mina Gallery end pipes.

Have a look here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...amiliar-96636/ and https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...on-more-79898/
