hey ... New to the jaguar world .. and very interested in making my s -type R faster looking for 100hp more if possible ..having really hard time finding place to do so any help out there .. NO NOS please ...thank you in advance!

 

no nos i want every day usable power ..and reliable have nos on my viper ...its not sutiable for everyday driving want constant power ..looked everywhere for more power with no results ...

Eurotek has an ECU and Pully upgrade to 17+ PSI. I think if you do intake as well as exhaust you can do roughly 450bhp and 488lb/feet of torque.

 

what i would do is look into unsized pulleys and changing the belt to fit the pulleys. frees up horse. install a k&n air box. remove the fan and use auxillary fans for cooling. run ngk r plugs and build you a set of 9mm or larger plug wires. choke off the exhaust for low end torgue. super charge it. remove any cold air emmissions if you can.

the s-type R comes supercharged, I'd definitely upgrade that supercharger though. I'd also look into a true dual exhaust setup. Also you could look into relocting your ambient air intake outside of the engine bay. Which tranny do you have? the 6spd auto or the 5spd manual?

 

all the S-Type R are 6-spd auto in U.S mayb in europe u can get a manual option...........

 

actually a 5spd manual is a no charge option. You just have to ask for it.

 

5spd is a no charge option on a 3.0 engine and 4.2 non supercharged all the R models are 6spd auto.

 

 

I will be purchasing an STR as well. I had pretty fast Mitsu EVO, just sold it. Now I want luxury and speed and the STR is just the car for me.
