Default Pre-conditioning battery

Hello everyone, new member here. I bought the cat on Feb 16 of this year. I am retired and do not have a set schedule. I have not preconditioned the battery once. My question: Is preconditioning the battery necessary?

Welcome to the Forums.

Not familiar with that terminology, but ALL mine sit on a Battery Minder when not in regular use.

Good luck.

It's an I-Pace, an EV, so the OP is not talking about a normal 12 volt battery but the big main EV battery which a battery minder is completely useless for.
That said I know SFA about EVs, the I-Pace or preconditioning an EV battery!

I was directed to this forum by another Jaguar enthusiast, hoping that someone could answer the question.
However, it looks like everyone here is not a Jaguar EV owner. But the classics. Which I love.
If anyone here is an EV owner, I would much appreciate any answer or direction to where I could get an answer to the original question.

Since this the New Members Intro Area, not too many Tech Savvy, of any variation, come in here.

I suggest a re-ask in the I Pace EV Section, down the Home Page a little bit.

One of the Mods should see this and copy your question, but that could take time.

Good luck.
