Cool R cat lover

Hi folks! I have what I would call "restored" 2001 XJR (58k miles ish) and a black STR (75k miles). Love them both, and so does my mechanic!

I am newer to the STR and curious if others are experiencing the coffee maker percolator noises in the dash.. the shop says not to worry about it, which is def the cheap answer! But I am curious what the heck is going on in there??

The old XJ is doing great, especially after replacing its fuel pumps (they are made of solid gold apparently) and the slew of other new parts.

love those mesh grilles!

gunmetal leaper

look at those clear headlights! Thanks to Rick at Jaguar Purrformance Center for slaving away on them!

swanky wheels; even if they are a little gangster

Hello,
Several of my cars have made that noise, it's caused by small bubbles in the heater core just behind the dash. I always thought it was because the heater valve was causing slight cavitation. That's one way I knew it was open on cold days.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
