Congratulations on your new Jaguar XJ8!
One thing I've always appreciated about a Salvage or Wrecking Yard vehicle, you can tinker with it and *Learn* and not feel too bad ruining something.

For example, What are these things looking like wires, but not wires?? So I cut them in my total ignorance, only to learn later, they were Light Pipes in the fiber optic system of the Series 3 Xj6 I was cannibalizing.
OOPS!
Oh Well, it Was in the wrecking yard, and in pretty awful condition, so that was one of the first Jaguar Learning Experiences.

However, our XJ8 section is populated with Experts and Gurus regarding these cars, and will happily help you with whatever you need to know.
