Recent XKR owner from Texas
Hi everyone. I recently bought my first Jaguar, an 03 XKR coupe. I joined here the day I bought it, but didn't post anything till I researched them a bit. I've been a Corvette guy for years but decided to step into something more refined. I've wanted an xk coupe for a long time, so stumbling across this one was perfect timing. I got the car at the Dallas Mecum auction about a month ago, and unfortunately you cannot test drive them there. I was blessed with 2 bent montreals, but otherwise she is good to go. Here are a couple terrible pictures.

Welcome to the forum Karson,
Good to have you here with us at Jaguar forums.
The a good looking XKR and being a Coupe makes it all the rarer in the US. Don't be too hard on the vendor about the Montreals. The split rim alloys are easily susceptible to damage.
I know you've found your way to the XK8/XKR tech forum with a very useful first post so no need for a link from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Southwest Region forum by following this link Southwest US - AZ TX NM OK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
