Replacing gear shifter in jag XF 2009
Dear all! Need help her removing the triangular shape veneer in picture , so as to remove the remaining 2-3 screws underneath and free the shifter! Tried pulling , sliding with no avail , what’s the truck here? Drives me mad🤬,thanks guys!

The veneer removal procedure isn't in the Workshop Manual so best ask the question in the model forum.
