Default Restricted power and stuttering under hard acceleration

Hi all, new to this Forum so hi to all,

Can anyone tell me if my 2004 XKR has the dual fuel pump system fitted??.
The car feels as though it is starved of fuel under hard acceleration, as soon as you back off a little and apply power gently she will go as expected.
The car also goes like stink when it is stone cold (due to more enrichment?)
as soon as it warms up power is gone under kick down and hard throttle.
There are no restricted power warning lights on, and there are no fault codes stored with the exception of P1000 which I am told is a general fault code which just shows that the fault has just been cleared.
Does anyone know how I check if this has a secondary pump installed??
I have changed the fuel filter (clip on type, rather than banjo bolt style, is this a clue to anyone to tell me if it has a secondary pump??)

Welcome.

I have no answer.

Post your query in the XK8/XKR (X100) section, and the answers will flow.
