Returning to the fold
New member intro - Just managed to get myself a new best friend/girlfriend, a 2005 super v8 long wheel base with about 55k on the speedo (1 owner) .She is still immaculate inside with a scent of leather pervading the interior . Black with a champagne interior . Use to be ferried around in Dad's Mk 2 then Daimler series 1 and finally graduated to driving his XJ 6 series 2 . Now i get to ferry him about in a super 8 - the cycle continues ,lol. Still have the Mk 2.

Yes i was a wanderer but have returned to the fold. The BLACK LWB certainly sets it up as "the Beast"
A cousin of mine inherited his Dad's 2003 S type 3l(racing Green) & he has recently taken on a huge mantle (financially anyway) in trying to restore an E type.

Thanks for the welcome.
Might need your help at a later date concerning bluetooth connectivity (have read your posts) & Don's as well concerning faulty suspension problems. Will have a look at a dealer scanning the codes first on what problems i might be facing - there's loads on the forum on these issues for me to work on firstly .
But she runs beautiful when she in the mood , lol.
