Hi everyone
I have a 98 Jaguar XK8 convertible in British Racing Green with approximately 126,000 miles. It has the 4.0 factory engine and transmission from what we can tell. The third owner it looks like replaced the odometer which leaves me in a quandary about actual mileage. I am attaching several pictures of the car so you can get some idea of what it looks like.
I live in Boaz, AL about half way between Birmingham and Huntsville. I lucked up on this car and I think I got a fairly good deal on it, $4,000. Only real problem the car had when I got it home was a cracked radiator end cap, which we found after my stepson drove it. I was able to repair the radiator with a little help from a friend and runs great now. There is a thread about it in the help section I believe.
Sorry about the quality of the Pictures I am not a picture taker.

Hello, Richard,
I've about decided this is my Next Jaguar! Right after I drive the wheels off the one I have.

But I'd want a BLACK one.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Richard,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southern Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...rn-midwest-67/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Welcome.

Nice pick up for $4K, and a rag top as well.
