Smile Sat nav question

Hi all,
I'm a new member to your amazing forum, I have just got myself an absolutely mint 1999 xj8, this is my 3rd jaguar, my first was a 1994 jaguar sovereign, my second was a 2001 s type, I love jaguars thanks to my dad who picked me up from school one day in a beautiful 1981 xj6, that was it I fell in love with them, I have had to sacrifice the last 2 jags due to unforeseen circumstances over the years, now I'm older and wiser it won't happen again, I'm looking out for someone with the know how for my question, please can you help me??, I want to know if the sat nav screen and stereo out of a later s type will fit in my 1999 xj8, if not what will? I would like to also fit a Bluetooth hands free kit to my car too, if any of you clever guys have tried it or if you know anyone who has, please would you get in touch and let me know, I want to try and keep my car looking original as possible but update it a little, if anyone can help I would really appreciate your amazing help,
Thanks steve.

Welcome to the forum Steve,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

You should ask the SatNav and Bluetooth questions in the X308 tech forum for the best response.

Follow this link XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X308 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/

Enjoy the forums.
