Default Series II XJ6 - St Louis, MO

Good afternoon... owner of a 1979 XJ6 (Series II car), with Gen I Chevy 350 and early-90's 700R4 auto transmission. A lot of additional work put into car over the first two months of ownership... steering rack/pump, headers/full dual exhaust system, radiator, LOTS of electrical, new burl dash/Stewart Warner gauges... next is the new fuel system (fuel cell, mechanical pump)... just can't wait to pull those stock tanks, you know!

Thanks for the forum. Very helpful... a lot of great (and knowledgeable) people, here.

Welcome to the forum Pseudonym71,

That's some work list completed already.

Follow this link XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJ6 Series II section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You may also like to visit the US Mid West Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/mid-west-us-il-ia-mi-mn-mo-oh-wi-39/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Hi Pseudonym71... IF that is indeed your real name! Seriously though, welcome to the forum and greetings from the Midwest Region. Wow, that's a lot of work done to the car with more to go. I'm sure that will be also invaluable experience to help out others when the time comes. Best of luck and enjoy the drive once she's all put back together!

Cheers,
Scott
